KKT® Stages

The Initial Phase
At the onset of treatment KKT® care focuses on restoring body balance and reactivating the body’s self-healing process in order to relieve pain and symptoms as quickly as possible.

Healing and Regeneration Phase
Utilizing the body’s signature frequencies, KKT® treatment triggers tissue regeneration and healing, counteracting the narrowing and loss of disk height often related to – and associated with – aging.

Body Stabilization Phase
With ongoing KKT® care the joints, ligaments and muscles supporting the spine begin to strengthen, offering greater support in maintaining the body’s balance and the natural position of the spine. This leads to enhanced coordination, increased range of tion and improved posture.

Harmonized Zone
Once a patient reaches the Harmonized Zone, regular KKT® care is established to assist the patient in maintaining their signature frequencies and the optimum efficiency of the spinal column. Synchronized and in tune with its frequencies, the body is better able to respond to and withstand the impact and events of day-to-day life.

KKT® care is designed to return patients to this peak harmonic state.

Sciatica

The sciatic nerve is the longest nerve in the body. It runs from the spinal cord to the buttock and hip area and down the back of each leg. Sciatica refers to pain that radiates along the path of this nerve. Sciatica typically occurs as a result of a compression or irritation to the nerve such as a symptom of a herniated disk.

SIGN OF POTENTIAL CONCERN

  • Pain along a path from your low back to your buttock and the back of your thigh and calf.
  • Numbness or muscle weakness along the nerve pathway in your leg or foot. In some cases, you may have pain in one part of your leg and numbness in another.
  • Tingling or a pins- and – needles feeling, often in your toes or part of your foot.
  • Loss of muscle mass in your calf or thigh
  • In extreme cases, loss of bladder or bowel control.

If you have any of these symptoms or related concerns, please schedule a visit to a KKT® Centre near you for a thorough assessment.

Proper clinical management of Sciatica requires that the spine be repositioned before any other considerations. KKT® treatment is essential for ensuring that this repositioning is done precisely, accurately and effectively.

TIPS FOR MANAGING SCIATICA

  • Sleep on a comfortable, but firm mattress on your side or back with knees bent. Keep a pillow under or between your knees. You will typically find that sleeping on one side is more comfortable than the other side. Try to stay to the side, which offers more comfort.
  • Adjust the height of chairs so your feet are flat on the floor and the knees are a little higher than the hips.
  • Keep your feet flat on the floor and do not cross your legs when sitting
  • Sit in chairs that have firm back support and sit up straight against the back of the chair.

The KKT® process plays an integral role in stimulating the connective tissues of the spine to promote cellular regeneration.
